Chattanooga packs a lot of city into the bend of the Tennessee River: the Tennessee Aquarium and the Walnut Street Bridge downtown — 2,376 feet of 1890 truss work and one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world — the Hunter Museum on the bluff, historic bungalows in North Chattanooga and Highland Park, the St. Elmo district at the foot of Lookout Mountain where the Incline Railway has climbed at a 72.7% grade since 1895, and working neighborhoods running out to Hixson, Brainerd, and Missionary Ridge. That mix means the dumpster work here is constant: full-gut renovations of century-old houses, landlord turnovers, commercial build-outs near the I-24 and I-75 junction, and storm cleanup whenever a cell sits down on the ridge. TriState Dump It serves Chattanooga from the Alabama side of the line — about 35 minutes out I-24 — with the same deal we give our home-town customers: 14-day rentals, flat prices with tonnage terms stated before you book, and a real local crew instead of a national call center reselling your job to the lowest bidder.

All four sizes include delivery, pickup, disposal, and a 14-day rental period anywhere in our Chattanooga service area:
$250 with 2 tons included. Sized for a garage or basement cleanout, a single-room gut in a North Shore bungalow, or yard and storm debris from a ridge-side property.
$325 with 2 tons included. The renovation workhorse: kitchen-and-bath remodels, multi-room flooring tear-outs, and roof jobs on Chattanooga's ranch and bungalow stock.
$415 with 2 tons included; overage is $75 per ton and extra days are $10 a day. Whole-house cleanouts, estate work, and full roofing tear-offs land here — enough box to finish in one set instead of two.
$625 with 4 tons included. Demolition, new construction, and commercial cleanouts — retail build-outs, warehouse clearances, and multi-unit turnovers across the metro.

Our Chattanooga prices are the same flat rates we charge everywhere: $250 for the 12-yard, $325 for the 16-yard, $415 for the 20-yard, and $625 for the 30-yard — delivery, pickup, disposal, and 14 days included. Weight past your included tonnage is $75 a ton and extra days are $10 a day, both quoted before you book. No fuel surcharges appear later.
One room or a garage: the 12-yard. A kitchen-plus-bath gut or a couple of rooms of plaster and flooring: the 16-yard. Whole-house renovations in Chattanooga's older neighborhoods — where lath, plaster, and layered flooring come out by the ton — usually need the 20-yard, and full demolitions belong in the 30-yard.
Placed on your property — driveway or yard — no permit is needed. A container going on a city street or right-of-way is different: that placement should be cleared with the City of Chattanooga first. In historic districts with narrow streets, like parts of St. Elmo and Fort Wood, driveway placement is almost always the practical answer anyway.
Yes, and in Chattanooga that is the right default: many older neighborhoods have narrow streets, on-street parking, and tight turns. Our drivers place on concrete, asphalt, or gravel, and if your drive is steep — Missionary Ridge and Lookout Mountain addresses, we are looking at you — tell us at booking so placement is planned, not improvised.
Nothing hazardous: paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, fuel, oil, asbestos, or electronics. Pre-war houses deserve one caution — if your renovation uncovers suspect material like old pipe insulation or 9-inch floor tile, stop and ask before loading; we will tell you honestly whether it can go. Everything standard — lumber, drywall, roofing, fixtures, furniture — is fine.
Fourteen days are included with every Chattanooga rental. Renovations that hit a snag — inspections, weather, a subcontractor's schedule — extend at $10 per day with one call before pickup. There is no penalty clock ticking beyond that published rate.
Two tons are included with the 12-, 16-, and 20-yard sizes and four tons with the 30-yard. Plaster and lath from older Chattanooga homes are deceptively heavy, and shingles always are; overages are weighed on a scale ticket and billed at $75 per ton.
Yes — our Chattanooga route covers the surrounding communities we serve across the west side and into North Georgia and Marion County, including Lookout Valley, St. Elmo, Tiftonia, Wildwood, and Rossville, plus the towns listed at the bottom of this page. If your address is near the edge, call (256) 548-6021 and we will confirm on the spot.
Regularly. Renovation contractors, roofers, landlords, and property managers use us for turnovers and job sites across the metro, with swaps scheduled so a full box never stalls a crew. Repeat customers get a direct line to dispatch — the same number on this page.
Usually, yes. Chattanooga's terrain — ridge lots, mountain drives, narrow historic streets — is the main variable. Describe the access when you book: driveway grade, gate width, overhead lines. If a full-size truck genuinely cannot place safely, we will tell you before delivery day, not at the curb.
Call for a swap: we haul the full container and set an empty one, typically on the next Chattanooga route. Gut renovations on older houses fill boxes faster than anyone expects — planning a swap into the schedule is normal, not a failure.
Your load is weighed, the included tonnage is deducted, and the balance bills at $75 per ton off the scale ticket. No penalty multipliers. If a project will obviously run heavy — plaster, concrete rubble, wet debris — say so up front and we will configure the cheapest legal way to haul it.
Book on our online booking page — size, date, done — or call (256) 548-6021 and get a local person who can talk through Chattanooga access quirks before the truck rolls.
Renovating room by room, staging a house for sale, or holding inventory off-site? Our mobile storage units rent for $175, billed every 28 days, delivered to your Chattanooga address and loaded at your pace.
Job sites, outdoor events, and riverfront gatherings use our porta potty rentals at $140, billed every 28 days — delivered clean, serviced on schedule, and picked up when you are done.
