Tiftonia, also known as Lookout Valley, is the Chattanooga neighborhood built around the I-24/I-59 interchange on the west side of the city, where US-11, US-41, US-64, and US-72 converge. Its ground is old: John Brown's Ferry Tavern here is the oldest house in Hamilton County, dating to the late 1700s, and the valley's first frontier settlements go back to the 1790s. The present-day neighborhood mixes longtime residents with hotels and restaurants serving interstate traffic, the Lookout Valley schools — Elementary, Middle, and High — and the John A. Patten Community Center, with Raccoon Mountain and its caverns, trails, and TVA pumped-storage plant just west. TriStateDumpIt sets roll-off containers across Tiftonia (ZIP 37419) for home renovations and cleanouts in the valley neighborhoods, hotel and restaurant remodels near the interchange, office and retail cleanouts along the US-11/64 corridor, and clearing work on the valley's larger lots. Rentals run 14 days, and beyond the stated price the only extras are weight past the included tons at $75 per ton and extra days at $10 per day, both printed before you book.

Interchange commercial work and valley household work call for different capacities, so all four sizes are listed with the jobs they ordinarily take in Tiftonia. Delivery, pickup, disposal, and a 14-day term are included in each price.
At $250 with 2 tons included, the 12-yard suits a garage or attic clear-out, a small kitchen or bathroom remodel, yard debris from a valley lot, or flooring stripped from one room.
Priced at $325 with 2 tons included, the 16-yard is the usual choice for work across several rooms, a roof tear-off on a ranch house, refreshing hotel rooms near the interchange, or clearing out a rental property.
At $415 with 2 tons included, this container handles larger home renovations, complete roofing jobs, estate cleanouts, and commercial work that needs more room than the 16-yard gives. Weight beyond 2 tons is $75 per ton and added days are $10 per day; details sit on the 20-yard dumpster page.
At $625 with 4 tons included, the 30-yard is for clearing a whole building, new construction, commercial renovation near the interchange, and large land-clearing projects in the valley.

Tiftonia rates are $250 for the 12-yard, $325 for the 16-yard, $415 for the 20-yard, and $625 for the 30-yard container. Each price covers delivery, pickup, disposal, and 14 days of rental. Loads that exceed the included weight are billed at $75 per ton for the excess, and days beyond the term cost $10 each — both are printed before booking is finalized.
Yes. Hotels, restaurants, and other commercial properties around the interchange are regular customers, most often with 16-, 20-, and 30-yard containers sized to the scope of the remodel or cleanout. Call (256) 548-6021 where a property needs several containers or a recurring arrangement.
On private ground — a driveway or a parking lot — no permit is required, because Tiftonia lies inside the Chattanooga city limits. A container intended for a public street or the right-of-way should be cleared with the City of Chattanooga first.
Yes, driveways and parking lots are where most Tiftonia containers end up, whether that is a ranch home in the valley neighborhoods or a business lot near the interstate. Let the driver know the spot you have in mind and it will be placed with care for the surface below.
Hazardous items are not accepted: paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, fuel, oil, asbestos, and electronics must be kept out. Project material such as lumber, metal, drywall, shingles, furniture, and brush can go in without a problem.
Every Tiftonia rental comes with 14 days. Should the project need longer, call ahead and extend at $10 per day so the remaining work is not paced by the container's pickup date.
Two tons of weight are included with the 12-yard, the 16-yard, and the 20-yard; the 30-yard includes 4 tons. Weight recorded beyond the allowance attached to your size is charged at $75 per ton.
Yes. From Tiftonia, deliveries continue through Lookout Valley and St. Elmo, climb Lookout Mountain, and cross the state line into Wildwood, Georgia.
Orders are taken through the online booking page — pick the size, pick the delivery date — or by calling (256) 548-6021, where the booking can be completed for you over the phone.
Each container is weighed after collection. If the scale shows more than the included tonnage — 2 tons for the 12-, 16-, and 20-yard, 4 tons for the 30-yard — the difference is charged at $75 per ton, calculated from the actual scale ticket rather than a guess.
Yes, and it is a routine part of the interchange work. Containers sit in the lots of hotels, restaurants, and offices here, positioned so that guest and customer access stays open while the property's project goes ahead behind it.
One container can carry both streams. Furniture and household contents can be loaded together with drywall, lumber, and shingles from the same property — just leave hazardous items out, and place heavy material in first with lighter pieces on top.
Give the driver a clear run: move vehicles and equipment away from the set-down area and leave the approach open. Businesses should mention gate codes and any restriction on delivery hours at the time of booking, so arrival does not run into a locked entrance.
Call once it is full and collection will be arranged inside the term. If the job is still producing debris, an empty container can be swapped in — a common pattern on the larger commercial projects and cleanouts around the interchange.
Moving house, or working through a renovation room by room, is easier when belongings are not stacked in the way. Our mobile storage units are delivered to Tiftonia properties for $175, billed every 28 days, and loaded whenever you get to them.
A porta potty rental for a Tiftonia job site or event costs $140, billed every 28 days. Units are delivered, serviced while on site, and picked up by our own crew at the end of the rental.
